Caleotto at Wire & Tube 2026 together with Feralpi Group
Caleotto is pleased to renew its participation in Wire & Tube.
In the 2026 edition, scheduled from April 13 to 17 in Düsseldorf, our company will be present as always alongside Feralpi Group.
Wire & Tube is a key moment for dialogue across the entire supply chain and a great opportunity to meet our guests. Our sales and quality teams will be attending the event to share our products and solutions for high-value-added special steels.
We look forward to seeing you at Düsseldorf Messe from April 13 to 17, 2026.
You can find us at Hall 12 - Stand D16
Scheduled Appointments
Caleotto will also be featured in two dedicated speeches on special steels. Here is when and where you can catch our presentations
14.4.26 | 10.00-10.25 | Hall 13 C52
"Influence of the process parameters on the deformability of wire-rod for mechanical applications"
Speaker: Mirko Tenca
Abstract: The as-rolled deformability of wire rods has been observed to enhance following storage, exhibiting a "reverse aging" phenomenon. This study aims to investigate this recovery process through tensile tests, with a particular focus on the reduction of area (ROA) changes over the storage period. Furthermore, the study will examine the impact of various hot rolling and cooling parameters on this deformability recovery, with the objective of clarifying the underlying mechanisms governing this process.

"From billet to wire rod: effect of continuous casting conditions on final quality"
Speaker: Federico Baldussi
Abstract: Solidification plays a fundamental role in metallurgical processes, such as continuous casting of steel billets, as it greatly influences the final microstructure, in terms of chemical segregation, grains morphology and size. In this context, the present study aims to evaluate how different continuous casting conditions influence the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of low-carbon steel billets and their subsequent hot-rolled wire rods. Furthermore, this work represents a preliminary step toward optimizing the casting process in order to achieve wire rods with tailored quality after hot rolling.
